Aberdeen Western Peripheral Route (AWPR)
HighWater was initially contracted by the AWPR Joint Venture to design new private water supplies for a number of properties and farms, whose existing supplies were being impacted by the AWPR. Once the recommended designs had been approved, HighWater was engaged to undertake the works, which included drilling, installing and commissioning of 10 new borehole water well supplies. HighWater continues to undertake the maintenance of these new supplies for the property owners.

We employed HighWater to assist with managing a large number of private water supply assessments, modifications and installations as part of one of our large construction projects in Aberdeen. Highwater helped us assess which supplies were likely to be affected by our works and also managed all of the new private water supplies to be installed. This included everything from arranging land access with landowners through to testing and commissioning of supplies and providing operation and maintenance documents. Beauly to Denny Overhead Power Transmission Line
HighWater was contracted by Balfour Beatty to drill, install, commission and decommission borehole water wells to deliver potable water supplies to seven temporary work compounds along the route of the Beauly to Denny overhead power transmission line. The solution provided by HighWater used re-purposed, insulated shipping containers which were fitted out in our workshop for delivery to site and location over the borehole. This approach minimised the amount of time our engineers needed to spend on site and also meant that the water supplies could be easily decommissioned once they were no longer required.
